Capcom’s Top 5 Moments of Capcom Pro Tour - Latin America Finals

Losers Top 8: Brook|Misterio vs Innova|Keoma

Chile's Brook|Misterio, who players Karin, won the first Latin America Region Ranking Event all the way back in May at Lima Salty3 at MGTFIX. Innova|Keoma from Brazil was one of the crowd favorites in the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour season with his Abel, making it into Capcom Cup 2015. This year he has been quiet early in the season but turned it on in the home stretch, with an aggressive Karin that's exciting to watch. Here we have a Karin mirror match where both players take turns winning matches until it's tied 2-2, being decided in the last round with a hardy Ho! Ho! Ho!

Losers Top 8: Umbrella|Dark vs Innova|Keoma

Umbrella|Dark817 from Brazil had a great run at the Latin America Finals, making use of Alex's parries and high damage moves to great effect! In this match in Losers, he collides with Innova|Keoma in a match that was fun to watch from beginning to end.

Top 8 Winners Finals: GAM|DR Ray vs EG|K-Brad

GAM|DR Ray from the Dominican Republic was absolutely one of the most thrilling players to watch at the Latin America Finals, with a high-flying, precision Vega! EG|K-Brad, from the USA, has been incredibly active in the 2016 Capcom Pro Tour season. Check out his player profile. He's also been playing his best Street Fighter 5 of the year in recent weeks, just when he needs it most!

Grand Finals: GAM|DR Ray vs EG|K-Brad

GAM|DR Ray and EG|K-Brad would meet once again in Grand Finals, after K-Brad defeated Innova|Keoma 3-0 in Losers Finals. DR|Ray just used relentless pressure, high damage punishes, and some fantastic mobility with his Vega to keep K-Brad off balance. K-Brad is an incredible player, but he and his Cammy just could not find an answer to DR Ray. DR-Ray eliminates K-Brad 3-0, taking 1st place and qualifying for Capcom Cup 2016!

Congratulations to GAM|DR Ray, Qualified for Capcom Cup 2016!

GAM|DR Ray really was one of the great standout surprises of the Latin America Finals. He really wasn't that active this season in the Capcom Pro Tour, having only taken top 16 in 4 events prior to the Latin America Finals, and one of those was an online event. His incredible play at the Latin America Finals made him a lot of fans, not just in Latin America but around the world, and he and his Vega are exciting additions to Capcom Cup 2016!
