About the Tour

The CAPCOM PRO TOUR (CPT) is the premier league destination for competitive fighting games. Featuring the latest flagship title of the legendary Street Fighter series, the CPT brings together players and spectators from all over the world to share their love of gaming. With 18 official events, and even more independently run tournaments involved, the CPT showcases the very best that competitive gaming has to offer.

The Game

Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition is the featured game for the Capcom Pro Tour 2019 season featuring 35 new and returning characters (with more being released throughout the year) with exciting battle mechanics such as the Variable System, V-Trigger II, and Critical Arts.

Tour Structure

Players from across the globe will battle through a yearlong tournament circuit in order to claim one of the 32 qualification spots for the year end Capcom Cup. Players can qualify through any of the methods listed below:

  • 1 is invited from the Capcom Cup 2018
  • 26 qualify via the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard
  • 4 qualify via Regional Finals
  • 1 qualifies via the Last Chance Qualifier

Point Structure

Players in Capcom-approved tournaments will be awarded rankings points based on their results as follows:

Super Premier Events

We’re excited to announce Super Premier Events as part of the Capcom Pro Tour for 2019. These events award ranking points to the top 192 players. These points are tracked on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard.

Premier Events

Premier Events award ranking points to the top 48 players. These points are tracked on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard.

Ranking Events

Ranking Events award ranking points to the top 8 players. These points are tracked on the Global Ranking Point Leaderboard and the Regional Ranking Point Leaderboard associated with each player.

Regional Finals

Regional Finals will include an open tournament, allowing a player from any region to compete for Global Leaderboard points, prizing, and Regional Leaderboard points (only for players in that region.) The Regional Finals Top 8 is restricted to only the top players from the respective region.

Top 8 Finals participants and seeding will be decided based on Regional Leaderboard points after the Regional Open Premier tournament and will take place the following day. The winner of the Regional Finals Top 8 will automatically qualify for Capcom Cup.

Capcom Cup Last Chance Qualifier

This is an open-bracket tournament hosted on the first day of the Capcom Cup. It does not award any Global or Regional Ranking Points, but the first place winner is guaranteed a qualifying spot for the Capcom Cup.


All Premier Events will be live streamed via the Capcom Fighters Twitch.tv channel. Ranking Events will be live streamed by each respective Tournament Organizer on a channel of their choice. Keep on the lookout for announcements regarding stream times and schedules.

* No Global or Regional Ranking Points will be awarded to the winners of the Capcom Cup Last Chance Qualifier.
